President of the Constitutional Court Dobrila Kacarska called upon all members of the Parliament of North Macedonia to respect the Constitution and initiate procedures for election of new judges for the necessities of the Court sooner. “The situation is alarming, we already have more than 30 cases for which we cannot reach a decision until the Parliament appoints new Constitutional Judges in the place of those that were retired last year. I would like to remind them of Article 51 Section 2, and to recommend them to please respect the Constitution of North Macedonia,” Kacarska said at a press conference.
