The Spokeswoman of the European Commission Maja Kocijancic said in a press conference on Monday that the EU closely follows the political situation in Macedonia. “The EU supports the adoption of the historically important Prespa Agreement, which represents a demonstration of courage and willingness for resolution of one of the greatest and long-lasting bilateral disputes in Europe. This is a unique possibility for both countries to overcome their differences and contribute to the strengthening of the peace-making processes throughout the entire region. We follow closely all national procedures necessary for full implementation of this agreement,” Kocijancic said.
