Koundouros: Greece Supports North Macedonia’s Accession in EU

Ambassador of Greece to Macedonia Roussos Koundouros addressed to all state institutions of Macedonia and all diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Macedonia a letter on occasion the 200th anniversary of Greece’s independence. “Greece is one of the founders of the United Nations, and became member of the EU in 1981, and in this spirit, we pledge for peace and coexistence between all nations, and in that spirit, we believe in existing perspectives for further development of friendly relations with North Macedonia, because the people in both countries can benefit from it. In this context, we welcome and support the bid of North Macedonia for EU accession,” the letter of Koundouros writes.
