Kovacevski and Mickoski Still Divided over Bulgaria Issue

PM Dimitar Kovacevski has said nothing is being hidden from the public regarding the talks with Bulgaria. According to him, the experts from the two sides are working on the open political issues, while the other working groups should improve relations in the spheres of common interest. Kovacevski stated on Wednesday that once there was a solution acceptable to both sides, the public would be informed. On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski is convinced that the identity is being undermined in the talks with Sofia. In his view, had the Government honestly intended to include the opposition in the process, it would have first shared the answers to the so-called 5+1 package. Mickoski once again called for early parliamentary elections and urged Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi to organise a session of the Committee on Election and Appointment Issues.
