PM Dimitar Kovacevski has condemned Russia’s decision regarding Donetsk and Lugansk. “I condemn Russia’s decision for recognition of Donetsk and Lugansk as self-proclaimed “People’s Republics”,” he tweeted on Tuesday. As he added, the act is a direct attack on Ukraine’s territorial sovereignty and integrity, as well as a violation of Minsk agreements and UN Council decisions from 2015. “Along with NATO Allies, we call on resolving conflicts through a diplomatic path,” the PM pointed out. The same day, President Pendarovski reacted on Twitter, too. “Rules-based international order is the foundation of international relations, whose principles must be respected. Blatant violation of international law is a threat to the civilisation,” he wrote, expressing staunch support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
