PM Dimitar Kovacevski will invite the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, to a
leadership meeting. As he announced, he plans to put two topics on the table – North
Macedonia & #39;s integration into the EU and harmonization of views on relations with
neighboring countries. If such a meeting were to take place, he did not reveal the details, he
only indicated that he would send the invitation to Mickoski in the coming days.
Commenting on the statements by VMRO-DPMNE that they will not support constitutional
amendments and his alleged resignation, the Prime Minister says that these are fictions of the
leader of VMRO-DPMNE in the absence of a concept. Mickoski is ready for leadership
meeting when it comes to national and state interests, but it should also discuss what to do
after the failure of the constitutional amendments, his party replied. After the working group
for constitutional amendments formulated the proposal for constitutional amendments,
Kovacevski expects from Monday that the proposal-initiative from the working group will be
found at a government session, and after it is reviewed and adopted, it will be sent to the
Parliament.
