At this year’s annual Summit of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Thessaloniki, PM Dimitar Kovacevski stated on Friday that Skopje and Tirana were losing precious time due to the non-approval of the negotiating framework. In his view, there is no greater and more efficient decision to strengthen regional stability than a one for a start of negotiations this June, in the frames of the French Presidency. Kovacevski’s stand is that Skopje has shown it is a trustworthy partner. “We are seeking and working tirelessly on solutions that will annul the veto halting the EU enlargement process,” the PM stated. According to him, the Government has a duty to find a quick but not hasty solution that will safeguard the Macedonian identity and langue, and will be founded on European values, considering the citizens’ dignity.
