Lloga Signs Resolution for Erasure of Club Tsar Boris III

Justice Minister Krenar Lloga officially signed on Thursday the resolution which declares Bulgarian culture club Tsar Boris III as illegal due to the use of its name. This follows the decision of the Commission for Names of Institutions and Associations at the Justice Ministry to issue a negative opinion concerning the name of the club, which according to their conclusion evokes negative feelings and sentiments among the ethnic Macedonians due to the involvement of Tsar Boris III with the fascist regime of the Third Reich and his role in the deportation of the Macedonian Jews to concentration camps, all during World Warr II. The resolution will now be forwarded to the Central Register of North Macedonia, which is expected to completely erase the club from the registry, just like it occurred with the Ivan Mihailov club in Bitola.
