VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski reiterated in Brussels the party’s positions that
they will not support constitutional changes, as he states, under Bulgarian instruction. “We
were shocked to find out that whenever representatives of the government came to Brussels,
they only complained about us, about the opposition, and asked for EU politicians to
pressure us into accepting constitutional changes under Bulgarian instruction. At our
meetings, we presented the real image of our country, which is currently ruled by SDSM and
DUI, which only care for personal political agendas instead of the good of the state. We
spoke about the failure of their reforms and how corruption and crime rates drastically
increased during their rule. The only way out of such a condition of the country is
organisation of parliamentary election,” Mickoski said.
