The leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski says he is ready to renegotiate with the new Greek government for possible changes to the Prespa Agreement. “We are ready to re-evaluate and improve all positions which the PM Zoran Zaev was blackmailed to give up on. I stand in defence of the Macedonian name and identity and I am sure that, once we come to power in Macedonia, we can renegotiate the content of the Prespa Agreement and improve the status of the Macedonian identity,” Mickoski said. In meantime, official Berlin stated that they expect the new government of Greece to respect the Prespa Agreement and that it will not obstruct Macedonia’s integration in NATO and EU.
