On Monday, Information Society and Administration Minister Azir Aliu, together with the EU Delegation’s Head, Ambassador David Geer, signed in Skopje the EU-North Macedonia agreement for participation in the Digital Europe Programme.
In the frames of the 2 nd Regulatory Dialogue with the Western Balkans, on 30 June, the European Commission signed association agreements for the Programme with North Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, and Serbia. Businesses, public administrations, and organisations from those countries will have access to the 7.5-billion-euro fund for the 2021-2027 period. After the signing Aliu said the agreement was an important step in the digitalisation process of North Macedonia.
