On Monday, VMRO-DPMNE Vice-President Aleksandar Nikoloski presented three pages containing draft-changes to the Criminal Code. He also showed a USB stick, saying it was the one previously mentioned by his party’s leader, Hristijan Mickoski.
According to him, ex-PM and former VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski’s secret communication has lasted for around 18 months, while it has intensified since February, with DUI leader Ali Ahmeti, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, who’s part of DUI, and another person.
As Nikoloski explained, the communication with Gruevski was first encouraged by DUI and then by SDSM, with the goal being winning over VMRO- DPMNE MPs that would support constitutional changes. Gruevski described the so- called evidence as fabrications and challenged the authenticity.
