No Verdict Reached in Torture Case

No verdict has been reached in the Torture case, which concerns the 2011 arrest of United for Macedonia President Ljube Boskoski. Judge Aleksandra Ristevska considers the charge to be unclear. She believes the trial should continue by specifying the activities that former Security and Counter-Intelligence Administration Director Saso Mijalkov and six members of the special units took during the arrest. Prosecutor Ljubomir Lape is surprised by the retrial decision. According to the defence, however, it is not unprecedented. As it added, the decision is right because the charge didn’t specify the defendants’ activities. The process will continue next month.
