The opposition will not agree to a change of the date of the elections. VMRO-DPMNE adheres to the stand that the election process should be carried out on 12 April 2020 despite DUI’s announcement that if Spain doesn’t manage to ratify the NATO Accession Protocol, the elections will be delayed to prevent Macedonia from being without a parliamentary composition when the integration into the Alliance will need to be officially voted through. SDSM, too, says the 12 April is the date.
