In the frames of their visit to Paris, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani and Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Maricic held a meeting on Wednesday with French President Emmanuel Macron’s Continental Europe and Turkey Adviser, Isabelle Dumont. Skopje and Paris have set the European perspectives on a joint path, creating a basis to build a more stable, more efficient, and safer Europe, Osmani wrote on social media. According to him, it’s very important to North Macedonia that France supports its EU path, with clearly set standards and without losing time. In the frames of the visit, Osmani and Maricic also met with Clement Beaune, French State Secretary for European Affairs. The talks focused on North Macedonia’s EU file. Skopje and Tirana should start membership negotiations, without delay, the interlocutors agreed.
