PM Kovacevski Meets Lajcak in New York

In New York, PM Dimitar Kovacevski, together with the Deputy PM for European Affairs, Bojan Maricic, met with the EU’s Special Representative for the Belgrade- Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan Regional Issues, Miroslav Lajcak.

They talked about current political issues in North Macedonia and in the region, as well as their implications in a wider security context. It’s necessary to keep the European course, with the next step in the period ahead, in order for the country to ensure development, as well as to contribute to European stability, for which the country has strong support in the EU, North Macedonia’s Government said in the press-release. The joint assessment is that any action outside the European agenda endangers the country’s European orientation.
