PM Zoran Zaev reiterated at a press conference in the government that there will be no early parliamentary election along with the local one, which is to take place in the autumn of 2021. “We already held parliamentary election, and VMRO-DPMNE lost it. Why should we now insist on another parliamentary election? There is neither necessity nor reason for such a thing now. If VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski has secured a majority to demand election, he should provide proof for that,” Zaev said. Referring to the Population census, PM Zaev said that it will be held between 1 and 21 April 2021 without any delays. “There should be no more debating about this matter. We are debating since 2012, and it will not be good to give up on this initiative now when we are literally weeks away from its implementation. I call upon all institutions and citizens to act responsibly and participate in the Population census,” Zaev said.
