Police Officers to Face Disciplinary Proceedings over Curfew Problems in Cair

Police officers from the control point in the settlement of Cair, located in Skopje, who were letting citizens through to buy products at a local store during the curfew will face disciplinary proceedings, according to caretaker Interior Minister Nakje Culev. He said at a press-conference on Monday that it was the State Market Inspectorate, not the Ministry, which was in charge of control of stores. Asked why VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson Dimce Arsovski had been using the licence for movement during a curfew, Culev said the Ministry of Information Society and Administration issued such licences, whereas his institution checked their originality. Culev considers that there is an enormously big number of issued licences in Macedonia.
