On the occasion of Orthodox Christmas, President Gjorge Ivanov sent a congratulatory message.  In it he described the holiday as an expression of God’s solidarity with people. “In the Republic of Macedonia, we need a renewal of the spirit of solidarity and of social justice,” the President wrote.  PM Zoran Zaev, too, sent a message, calling for a more humane and more just society, with a prosperous future for all. Congratulatory messages were also sent by SDSM Sec Gen Aleksandar Kiracovski, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti, PS Talat Xhaferi and the Macedonian Orthodox Church-Ohrid Archbishopric.
