Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov delivered a lecture at the prestigious Wayne State University in Detroit during his working visit to the United States. Ivanov, who was announced as a supporter of the principles of market economy and political pluralism, spoke on the topic “Birth of a New World: Challenges and Opportunities for Generations Y, Z, and Alpha,” Ivanov’s Cabinet said in a press release. Speaking about the challenges and opportunities of the new generations through prism of famous philosophers, Ivanov explained the global changes, caused by the rapid advancement of technology, migration, demagogy, climate change. At the meeting with the disapora representatives Ivanov said he would not vote at the 30 September referendum in order to justify the trust bestowed upon him by citizens with the pledge to protect the Constitution.
