The private profile of the president of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC), Biljana Ivanovska, on “Facebook” has been misused, the SCPC informed. “Certain persons are misusing Ivanovska’s family photos for purposes known to them and are trying to create a false image in public with photomontage. Against them, Ivanovska will initiate a private procedure, taking into account that it is a private profile,” it is stated in the announcement from SCPC. The State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest announced that it will continue to work in accordance with its competences and act according to the same principle in all cases. SCPC calls on all relevant stakeholders in society to contribute to the fight against corruption and conflict of interests because, as they point out, results can only be achieved with joint efforts. According to the nature of action, the Commission handles cases in the area of corruption and conflict of interest, areas that are related to high public functions.
