Professor Siljanovska Davkova to be VMRO-DPMNE’s presidential candidate

Professor Gordana Siljanovska Davkova was elected by VMRO-DPMNE’s delegates at Saturday’s convention in Struga to be the party’s presidential candidate. In her speech, she levelled fierce criticism at PM Zoran Zaev. As she added, the presidential elections are a genuine chance to “topple the hybrid regime”. The presidential candidate announced she would form a team of domestic and international experts in international law because, in her view, the name change isn’t a finished story. “Help needs to be sought in international law,” SIljanovska Davkova stated. Also, she said she would ask for more frequent addresses in Parliament, especially when she would veto unconstitutional laws. “I will ask to explain that before MPs,” she stressed.
