Racketeering case: Charge filed Against Janeva, Jovanovski and Milevski

Luxurious furniture worth around 5,000 euros and 50,000 euros in cash could result in a three-year prison sentence for ex-Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva if the charge filed on Thursday against her, Bojan Jovanovski and Zoran Milevski in the Racketeering case is proven. As it was said in the Prosecutor’s Office press-release, Janeva abused her official position and authorisation, while Jovanovski and Milevski received a reward of 1.5 million euros for unlawful influence. Jovanovski was also charged with money laundering. According to the Office, Milevski was in charge of arranging meetings with Orce Kamcev’s wife and convincing Jovanovski that he had a strong influence on Janeva.
