The reactions to the Investigative Reporting Laboratory’s (IRL) documentary about the 2021 Tetovo modular hospital fire have continued.
On Wednesday, a group of citizens and activists staged a protest outside the Basic Court in Tetovo, demanding, as they said, justice in the hospital fire case. The organisers of the protest said there would be no peace in the country until there was justice and political accountability. Protesters also called on the Government to dismiss Chief Public Prosecutor Ljubomor Joveski and other prosecutors involved in the case.
The same day, Health Minister Fatmir Mexhiti and his predecessor, Bekim Sali, continued to trade accusations over the modular hospitals issue.
