According to PM Zoran Zaev, though Skopje wants to solve the problem with Sofia, he doesn’t know as PM what the problem is anymore. He says that the country wants to have good relations with all neighbours and for there to be no hate. Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister, Ekaterina Zaharieva, is still without a concrete answer and explanation before the public in her country with regards to the decision of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In an interview with a radio station, she points out that nobody challenges the right to self-determination and free expression, adding that the language isn’t a problem either. However, she also says that the western neighbour has caused distrust in the 2017 deal. According to the Bulgarian politician, though her country’s position isn’t easy to understand, it will continue to explain it.
