Parliament too often adopts laws in the shortened procedure, while there are difficulties also with regards to the political dialogue. The Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador David Geer, criticised on Thursday the work of the legislative home at the session of the European Affairs Committee concerning the Report on North Macedonia’s integration progress. Opposition members levelled criticism as well, saying laws were adopted by violating the Rules of Procedure. On the other hand, the ruling majority claimed there was no abuse when it came to the so-called European flag. Brussels welcomed the progress in the talks with Bulgaria, whereas the opposition stated that the problem should be solved with European manners. However, the main focus of the Report, as Geer observed, is on the fight and corruption and organised crime, where the future reforms should be made.
