SCPC files Two initiatives for Criminal responsibility Over nepotism

The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) has filed two initiatives for criminal responsibility for two officials over nepotism. That concerns current Prilep Mayor Ilija Jovanovski and former Criminal Court President Vladimir Pancevski in relation to abuse during employment of relatives of theirs. Pancevski employed his nephew during his time as head of the Court even though he wasn’t on the list of applied candidates. Since February, the SCPC has opened 276 cases, 28 of which have been resolved. On Tuesday, experts held a meeting about the SCPC’s role.
