SCPC Reviews About 20 Allegations of Abuses in Election Process

A series of violations of the election rules, the premature start of the campaign, suspicions of misuse of state resources – the Anti-Corruption Commission assesses that the current course of the election process is in violation of the law and without political culture. SCPC President Biljana Ivanovska says that in the first few days there have been abuses by officials, and announced that the commission will demand responsibility from the Government from Ministers Naser Nuredini and Bujar Osmani because during working hours they had party activities in the headquarters, and drove official vehicles from the ministries. In addition to disobeying the law, anti-corruption activists also monitor the transaction accounts of political parties. 16 IFES observers have been hired, as well as analysts who will check whether there is an illegal inflow of money in the party coffers.
