SEC Withdraws Proposal for Making Valid Ballots Without Seal

The State Electoral Commission (SEC) has withdrawn the proposal for changes to the electoral regulations which would’ve allowed for ballots without seals of the board at polling stations during election cycles to be considered valid if the number of the candidate is properly encircled. SEC proposed this change on Tuesday, and it was opposed by only one SEC member. From SEC they claim that they proposed the change based upon a decision of the Administrative Court to declare ballots without seals as void, which is the reason why there will be a revote at one polling station in the municipality of Suto Orizari on Sunday.
