Slovenian President Pahor Visits Macedonia

On Saturday, President Stevo Pendarovski and his Slovenian counterpart, Borut Pahor, paid a visit to the Army’s Water Training Camp in Ohrid, where they saw a show exercise. They also paid a visit to some of the cultural-historical sites in the city. The previous day, Pendarovski and Pahor had held a meeting and joint press-conference in Skopje. Also, they laid wreaths at Goce Delcev’s tomb in the capital. Furthermore, the Slovenian President delivered an address at a session of Parliament and held meetings with Speaker Talat Xhaferi and PM Zoran Zaev. According to Pahor, the Intergovernmental Conference mustn’t be delayed because that can lead to inertia of the whole process that would afterwards last a long time, which, in his view, will endanger the interests of Macedonia, the region, and the EU.
