USAID’s Green: We are Dedicated to Macedonia and Its Development

Mark Green, USAID Administrator, stated that the US is dedicated to Macedonia and its continued development, at the joint press-conference with Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Koco Angjusev. Green underlined that USAID plans to encourage several private investments, pointing out that they invest in workforce, skills, nurturing entrepreneurship, aiding the institution leaders to invest into small and medium enterprises. He, as most successful USAID programs, which are present in the country since 1993, mentioned the South-East Europe University and the animation and visual effects company FX3X, which only years ago was a small team with big dreams that have been fulfilled with USAID’s assistance toward training and project access. Angjusev stated that they opened new topics for economic cooperation at the meeting, more precisely opening a central unit for creating public private entrepreneurships which he considers the future of the development of the economy.
