EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi said that the first EU intergovernmental conference with North Macedonia and Albania could be held in the coming days, correspondent reports from Brussels. “Many efforts have been made to resolve the dispute between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. Now is the time for all stakeholders to take the last step. I have high hopes that the intergovernmental conference with Albania and North Macedonia can be held in a few days. These countries have delivered everything that is required of them. They are ready, we should be too. We have a decision on the table that has been approved by the Bulgarian Parliament. All obstacles have been overcome, the EU needs to move forward,” Varhelyi said.
