Vice PM Osmani Meets New OSCE Mission Head Koja

Vice-Premier for European Affairs Bujar Osmani met Wednesday with the new Head of OSCE Mission to Skopje, Ambassador Clemens Koja. At the meeting, Osmani emphasized the important role of the OSCE Mission in Skopje in supporting the government’s reform processes, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release. “The OSCE Mission has played an important role in overcoming the numerous challenges in the past period, especially in the area of electoral reform, but also in overall implementation of the principle of the rule of law. The OSCE support from the very beginning of the democratic development of Macedonia is an inseparable part of building the democratic society,” Osmani said. Osmani and Koja shared opinions on the current political situation in Macedonia and the activities of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission on the eve of the upcoming referendum.
