VMRO-DPMNE group to Vote against Revocation of Gruevski’s mandate

VMRO-DPMNE’s parliamentary group will vote against revocation of former PM Nikola Gruevski’s mandate. It’s possible for its members to request at Thursday’s session of the Mandatory-Community Issues Committee for it not to be run by MP Pavle Bogoevski because of the scandal related to the audio recording in which, according to the party, he can be heard ordering cocaine. SDSM says the condition for a six-month unjustified absence has been met. “We fear that the session will be turned into a farce and be marked by political accusations instead of it seeing a constructive debate,” Zoran Zaev’s party points out. DUI is adamant that Gruevski’s mandate should be revoked. The eight MPs from the independent group of VMRO-DPMNE are still tactful and haven’t revealed how they will vote.
