In an interview with Alsat on Saturday, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said one of the basic tasks of the future government led by VMRO-DPMNE would be a policy of zero tolerance on crime and corruption.
“We appreciate the positions of our strategic partners, including Ambassador Aggeler’s too, that means each statement from experienced diplomats is welcome. However, this is an internal matter of ours. Corruption and crime are an internal matter we need to solve on our own. We must not expect that someone will come from outside and solve it,” he stresses. In the interview, Mickoski also pointed out that his party was focused on preparing the programme because it believed that the situation in all areas in the country was very bad.
“We’re preparing a quality programme. The only offer I expect from the Government is for, as soon as possible, Parliament to be dissolved and for there to be early parliamentary elections,” he noted.
