VMRO-DPMNE leader Mickoski in Interview with MIA

In an interview with MIA, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski says that the government doesn’t want the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) law to be adopted and that SDSM wants to halt the entire process because Zoran Zaev’s party wants to implement legal violence in the confrontation with the people not sharing its political views. According to him, since the failed leaders’ meeting of 10 September, there has been no official communication between him and Zaev. Mickoski adds that a new leaders’ meeting is possible if the two sides’ approach their stands previously. Regarding Macedonia’s European path, the VMRO-DPMNE leader expects the country to get a date. However, in his view, that process will not be usual, as was the case with other countries, but rather there will be some conditional in-between compromise.
