VMRO-DPMNE Reiterates Stand at Meeting with Three Ministers

On Monday, a delegation of VMRO-DPMNE and parliamentary parties from the coalition it leads held a meeting with France’s Laurence Boone, Minister of State for Europe, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, German Minister for Europe Anna Luehrmann, and Poland’s Minister for the EU, Szymon Szynkowski vel Sek.

According to the press-release, the representatives of VMRO-DPMNE and its coalition reiterated the stand that “constitutional changes” when there is a “political dictate by the neighbourhood” are not acceptable. “The role of neighbours should be a role of support of our European integrations, not negating the Macedonian national identity.

The opposition wasn’t at all included in the negotiations that resulted in ultimatums and requirements that deviate from the European values and principles.” the party said.
