Xhaferi: Nobody Was Endangered During Parliament Vote

On Sunday, the Parliament finally adopted the fifth package of anti-crisis measures, but the reactions around the session continued the next day. If there are still conditions and blockades from the opposition in the Parliament, Speaker Talat Xhaferi does not rule out the possibility that again COVID-19 positive MPs will come to vote in protective equipment. For the session, which caused many reactions in the public, he explained at a press conference that he was forced to refer to the amended protocol, which was approved last year by both the Infectious Diseases Committee and personally by its President, Doctor Zarko Karadzovski. VMRO-DPMNE announced criminal charges against all those involved in Sunday’s events, while according to SDSM the protocols have been respected and no one’s health is endangered.
