Zaev: COVID-19 Vaccines from China to Arrive by End of February

PM Zoran Zaev said during a press conference in the government that the shipment of 200,000 COVID-19 vaccines from China is expected to arrive in Macedonia by the end of February. “While we are conducting the vaccination with the Pfizer vaccines we received from Serbia, we will also have the Chinese vaccines delivered. This means that the immunisation process will not be interrupted,” Zaev said. The PM first said that these vaccines are to arrive in Macedonia between 10 and 15 February, but then claimed that the delivery is delayed due to the Chinese New Year holiday. From VMRO-DPMNE they said that the citizens are thankful for the vaccines received from Serbia, but that this act does not cover up the incapability of PM Zaev and Health Minister Filipce to deal with the pandemic.
