Zaev, Dimitrov and Osmani Hold Meetings with EU Heads

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev together with Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani on Thursday held a series of virtual meetings with EU leaders, among which were European Council President Charles Michel, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues, Miroslav Lajcak, European Parliament President David Sassoli, and EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi. During the meetings it was stated that the country is working dedicatedly on realizing all recommendations from the EC report and transformation is underway to European standards. PM Zaev expressed his hopes for support in the formalization and adoption of the negotiations Framework after which would follow the first intergovernmental conference by the end of the year, which was met by strong support by the EU functionaries. After the meeting with the first people of the EU, Prime Minister Zaev informed about the conclusions from the online meetings.
