The PM Zoran Zaev says that the messages coming from the opposition that they cannot reach agreement over any issue unless a snap parliamentary election is held. “Despite the signals from VMRO-DPMNE, we will do our best and invest super-human efforts in order to adopt the Draft-law on Public Prosecution. Working groups can proceed with negotiations, even though the Parliament of Macedonia will not work till 26 August due to the summer holidays. We have determined the red lines, and those are securing the further functioning and work of the Special Public Prosecution (SPO) in accordance with all international standards. If the opposition insists on snap election so much, we can have one, but no sooner than October 2020,” Zaev said during the opening of the new Clinic Centre in Kumanovo.
