10 persons have been detained in the frames of the investigation into the case concerning five tons of marijuana seized in Serbia. On Thursday afternoon, they were taken before a judge in the previous procedure.
A detention measure was issued against part of them. They are suspected of involvement in the transport of the marijuana from North Macedonia to Serbia. Earlier on Thursday, Interior Minister Toshkovski had said charges would be filed that day against the 10 people.
“Two of them are already in detention. These 10 people are directly or indirectly linked to produced drugs. Today, the charge will be filed. We have grounded suspicions that those people are linked to the transport of the drugs that was seized in Serbia”, he told 21 TV.
