41 Vehicles Temporarily Confiscated since Safe City Introduction

Since the introduction of the Safe City system, police have temporarily confiscated 41 vehicles. According to the Interior Ministry, however, courts will have final say as to whether there will be permanent confiscation.

Also since the introduction, the system has registered over 600 traffic offenses committed by people driving vehicles with foreign license plates. When it comes to private transporters, they’ve called for buses to become part of a special category and thus have a separate tolerance threshold.
