On Monday, VMRO-DPMNE Skopje mayoral candidate Orce Gjorgjievski said his programme included plans for new mega-parks, including preadaptation of the Vardariste landfill, as well as another 50 mini-parks. Parks, he explained, are part of his programme for a healthier environment.
In Karpos, the ruling party’s mayoral candidate, Sotir Lukrovski, stated that a mega-park covering an area of over 300,000 square metres would be built in that Municipality.
When it comes to SDSM, its mayoral candidate for the capital, Kaja Sukova, stated that all urbanism plans would be available online. In that regard, she promised that there would be a new, strict, and eco-General Urban Plan (GUP). Among her top priorities will also be a smart parking concept in Skopje.
In Cair, VLEN’s mayoral candidate, Izet Mexhiti, stated that if elected, he would ensure there was a lift in every building on the Municipality’s territory. His opponent in the race, DUI’s Bujar Osmani, presented plans to develop sports.
