University professor Visar Ademi informed that he will run in the local election for the position of Mayor of Gostivar as an independent candidate.
“As an independent candidate, I do not owe anything to any political party, but I intend to fully dedicate my work to my fellow-citizens. Let us all work together, for the well-being of our Gostivar. I do not fight just for an election victory, but for the chance to transform our city for the better”, Ademi wrote on Facebook.
In meantime, the State Electoral Commission (SEC) informed that concluding with Friday 29 August, 13 independent candidates for mayors initiated procedures to collect signatures, for the municipalities of Kumanovo, Ohrid, Debar, Bitola, Kocani, Makedonska Kamenica, Debrca, Makedonski Brod, Kocani, Mogila, Novaci, Demir Hisar and in the City of Skopje.
