In the interview with RTV21, DUI leader Ahmeti revealed that he was considering retiring from active politics after spending more than two decades on the political scene. As he assessed, he is thinking about retirement more and more often.
However, Ahmeti added that his fellow party members believed that it was not yet time for his withdrawal and that his presence in politics remained necessary.
Separately, in a press release, DUI reacted to the Government’s promotional video prepared on the occasion of 35 years of independence, accusing the cabinet of promoting a “one-sided and exclusionary” vision of the state through its choice of language, participants, and historical events.
