On Friday, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti said that he wasn’t in touch with US-blacklisted ex-Deputy PM Artan Grubi and former National Lottery head Perparim Bajrami, both wanted on an international warrant in relation to the Lottery case. Ahmeti’s stand is that it is not his job to know where they are.
“I work neither at the Prosecutor’s Office nor at investigative organs. Surely, they are not at places far from the region”, he stated.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Grubi and Bajrami are suspected of abuse of official position, while crime exceeding 500 million denars was caused.
