Regarding the race for the position of North Macedonia judge at the ECHR, considering the Government had received a negative opinion on attorney Jordan Apostolski, the Commission led by the President of the Constitutional Court, Kostadinovski, met on Monday, determining a new candidate, Ana Dangova Hug.
The nomination received unanimous support from the Commission’s members.
The procedure for electing the new candidate was carried out entirely in accordance with the criteria and recommendations, in the same manner as the previous voting principle, i.e., by observing the recommendations of the SCPC for the recusal of some members, it was pointed out.
