Anonymous LDP Members Demand Change of Party Leadership

Anonymous LDP members have demanded a Congress session and change of the party’s leadership that, in their view, wants to make the party a ruling coalition member.

In the press-release, they say that they’ve formed an initiative board for changes following the unprincipled “bargaining” policy and undemocratic leading of the party.

On Tuesday, according to the anonymous members, LDP’s office in Bitola started a debate on whether the party should join the ruling majority, which was met with a fierce reaction from most of those in attendance, who referred to the offer as unprincipled, even though there were several supporters of the idea as well.

Membership, the anonymous members claim, have been told negotiations with VMRO-DPMNE and specification of the procedure are underway.

However, Bobi Mojsoski, the party’s Secretary-General, has dismissed the allegations.

“We were in Bitola for a seminar and panel discussion. The party’s further action wasn’t discussed at all. We’re not negotiating with anybody,” he said, adding that a Central Board session would be held as soon as possible.
