According to Skopje Mayor Gjorgjievski, around 50 citizens have reported damage caused by Wednesday’s severe storm in the capital, with the majority of the reports concerning flooded garages and basements.
He said on Thursday teams continued to be ready to take action in a timely fashion at critical locations in the event of a severe storm that day as well. Authorities have continued to deal with the consequences.
According to the Crisis Management Center, the severe storm impacted the Municipalities of Kisela Voda, Gazi Baba, Butel, Chair and Aerodrom the most.
Regarding claims and allegations, including from SDSM, about the Oncology Clinic, the institution stated that there was no danger to patients and medical staff.
